Mushroom Hot Chocolate

 

 

Mushroom Hot Chocolate. Made with cacao nibs and medicinal mushrooms, family foraged on Seymour Mountain (my back yard) Ethically sourced organic cocoa nibs. Mixed with Maca root powder and ashwaganda root. These are both adaptogens working with your body to provide the centralized healing specific to your needs, adapting the healing process to suit you.

 

What is the difference between cocoa powder? The nibs still contain all the cocoa butter from the seed, the powder does not. We are left with a very creamy rich “powder.” All mushrooms are ground until they are a light airy fluff, they help to thicken. A little bit of  fresh ground cinnamon, cloves, vanilla and anise star (sifted of corse) yes they are freshly ground.

 

 Directions: In a small saucepan add 1 cups of vegan or regular milk. Add 1 Tbsp. of the hot chocolate mix, whisk together. Simmer for 10-15 minuets whisking occasionally. Add 1 Tsp. of coconut oil at the end and stir to combine. Serve immediately. Add ins: Honey or sugar to taste or maybe more vanilla? Works great with eggnog and Whiskey!!
